The Sunset United Church "Not Quite" Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be taking place NEXT WEEK, February 16 from 5-6:30 pm. The event is being hosted by the SUC Youth (Explorers & TGIF). Tickets available in the office or at the door: Large order $6/small order $4/Family $15. 

Donations are kindly requested for this event which will see all proceeds going to Youth Programs. The sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board. Needed items are: Pancake mix (add water only type), flavoured/diet syrup, margarine, ketchup, breakfast/pork sausage, juice (1 litre apple or orange), disposable aluminum roasters and electric griddles.

Annual reports for the Annual Congregational Meeting being held after Worship on February 12th are available in the office.

Kathy will be holding a public presentation on her sabbatical journey in Africa through photos and stories at Sunset this Thursday, February 9 from 7 - 9 pm. Everyone is welcome! She will also be presenting at Wintergreene Estates on February 17th @ 2 pm.

Family Ministry on February 11 - families can gather over a pot luck meal followed by a program exploring ideas and engaging in activities for celebrating Lent together at home. Supper @ 5:30, the evening will wrap up by 7:30.

Sign up for the fundraising Trivia Night being held next Saturday, February 4th. Any age, any ability-it's meant to be fun; all kinds of trivia questions, so put your knowledge or luck to the test!

The Annual Congregational Meeting is being held on February 12th immediately after worship. Pick up a copy of the Strategic Plan in the office if you want to have a thorough read before the meeting.

Get involved with the Lumsden Beach Camp Musical Fundraiser-- new cast members and behind the scene helpers are still most welcome!

Mark February 16th on your calendar if you love pancakes (and who doesn't)-- the "Not Quite Shrove Tuesday" pancake supper will be held that evening.
