December 4 Advent II
Song of Faith – Scott Thompson & Ross MacNab
Last year, our own Scott Thompson, following some discussion on our faith statements he had with Russell and Kathy, decided to work with the United Church’s new Song of Faith and put it to music. Ross then offered his own theological reflections on each piece of the song of Faith Scott worked with. This second Sunday in Advent, we will hear one of these pieces and some new ones on Advent and some reflections for our spiritual contemplation.
Christmas Quiet at Sunset – A Reflective retreat from the Christmas rush. Each night will include reflections of readings with some silent meditation which could involve walking the labyrinth for those who wish.
December 8 – Meditation through visual images: An opportunity to explore meditation and spirituality through an artist’s perspective. Craig Hubbard will share some of his art and reflections (TBC).
